Position Overview
The Product Manager will work directly with Alluvial's Chief Executive Officer and other stakeholders to define and evolve our standard for enterprise-grade liquid staking. The Product Manager will be responsible for executing Alluvial's product strategy, ensuring that we are able to scale our standard across our key customers and to other blockchains.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Define and execute against the product roadmap, drive the product feature planning process, and work with the technical team to ensure successful product releases
- Create and own product requirement documents that distill a product vision and the “why” for a feature into functional and nonfunctional requirements in close collaboration with the product delivery team
- Partner with internal stakeholders to validate customer needs, ensure product market fit and align on GTM planning. Partner with external stakeholders in the Liquid Collective such as our Technological Partners contributing to building liquid-staking protocols
- Build out product metrics to track and monitor the success of our products
- Research and dive deep into the blockchain ecosystem and technology to understand and define new features and strategic directions for the protocol
Qualifications
- 3-5+ years of experience in product management or engineering in the web3 ecosystem or at a fintech company. DeFi experience is highly preferable.
- Hands-on experience with product management and proficiency across modern task project management tools and software
- Familiarity with API-first solutions, smart contracts based protocols, and architecture
- Ability to evaluate our products through the eyes of various stakeholders: Integrators, Tech Providers, and Node Operators
- Experience with regulation applying to digital assets is highly desirable
- Experience and demonstrated success managing multiple initiatives in parallel
- Leadership skills and core values that align with the organization
- An extreme attention to detail and mission-focused approach
- Demonstrates high EQ in working with stakeholders
